Psalm 55

What a powerful reminder. . .  It reminds me of Psalm 55 in the :

Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never allow the righteous to be shaken. — Ps 55:22

So,  when the burdens in life weigh us down; It is very likely that we are relying our own faculties rather than the all powerful, all knowing, all loving, God.

This Just Happened

As some of you know I am an Apple fan. Apple is one of the best companies around. I love their products. I love the way that they lead in the technology space. I love the way that they create leaders.

2018 VBS Goals

We want every child to learn:

Basic Truth: God Made Me
Key Question: When are you your best?
Bottom Line: I’m my best when I do things God’s way.
Memory Verse: “God’s way is perfect.” — 2 Samuel 22:31 NIrV

DAY 1 – I know God is always with me. – Genesis 37-45
DAY 2 – I know God has a plan for me – Esther 2:2–8:17
DAY 3 – I know Jesus wants to be my friend forever. – The Gospels
DAY 4 – I know I can love others. – Acts 2: 42-47
DAY 5 – I know I can go and tell others about God. – Acts 9

We want to partner with parents:

Day five is about families – we will have a family experience to connect families around the learning for the week.

VBS is important.

Vacation Bible School is important. Lets ask god to bless it. Here is a link from our church’s Facebook Page. We are trying to get to 100 comments of specific ways to pray for Vacation Bible School.

VBS is still the largest evangelical event that the local church does each year. It can only be successful if we cover it in prayer. Join us as we ask God to bless it.
